Which Age Group? Age Chart 2016-2017
Due to recent mandates by US Soccer, soccer clubs in the US are switching to birth year to determine what age group a player plays in. For instance a player born in the year 2003 will play in the U14 age group for the 2016-17 season.

Also note that the format “U followed by age” really means that age and younger. For example, U8 should be read as 8 and younger.

Use this chart to determine the appropriate age group for your player for the 2016-2017 season:

Birth Year Age Group
2012 U-05
2011 U-06
2010 U-07
2009 U-08
2008 U-09
2007 U-10
2006 U-11
2005 U-12
2004 U-13
2003 U-14
2002 U-15
2001 U-16
2000 U-17
1999 U-18
1998 U-19
